Dear Reader,
If you’re reading this, you’ve witnessed something extraordinary—the sudden disappearance of millions of people across the world. This event was not random or the result of some human conspiracy. It was the fulfillment of a promise Jesus Christ made to His followers: the rapture of the church.
The Bible foretold this moment in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17:
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
The rapture marks the removal of believers—those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior—from the earth. What remains is a world entering the most tumultuous period in human history, known as the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21). But despite the chaos and judgment to come, there is hope for you if you turn to Jesus Christ now.
Who Is Jesus and Why Does This Matter?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent to earth to offer salvation to all who would believe in Him. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for humanity’s sin, and rose from the dead, conquering sin and death (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).
His sacrifice was a gift of love and grace, but it requires a response. Those who believe in Him and confess Him as Lord receive eternal life. Those who reject Him face eternal separation from God. The rapture was God’s way of sparing His followers from the coming wrath, but His love and offer of salvation remain for you, even now.
What You Must Do Now
Turn to Jesus in Faith
Repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. The Bible says:
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
Pray to Him with sincerity, asking for forgiveness and inviting Him into your life.Read the Bible and Follow Its Truth
The Bible will guide you through the days ahead. Start with the New Testament, particularly the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) to understand Jesus’ life and teachings. Revelation will give insight into what’s to come.Resist the Antichrist
The Bible warns of a coming world leader who will rise to power, promising peace and prosperity, but ultimately demanding worship (Revelation 13). Do not take his mark, often referred to as the “mark of the beast.” This mark will be required to buy and sell (Revelation 13:16-17), but accepting it will seal your fate.Stay in Community with Other Believers
Seek out others who are also turning to Christ. Encourage one another, pray together, and support each other during these challenging times (Hebrews 10:25).Be Prepared for Persecution
Following Jesus now will come at a cost. The Bible says that those who refuse to worship the Antichrist or take his mark will face persecution, and many will lose their lives for their faith (Revelation 6:9-11). But remember, your reward is eternal life with Christ.
What You Must Avoid
Do Not Despair
God is still in control. Though the world seems chaotic, all that is happening has been foretold and will culminate in Jesus’ return to establish His kingdom.Do Not Take the Mark of the Beast
No matter how difficult life becomes, do not accept the Antichrist’s mark or pledge allegiance to him. Doing so will result in eternal separation from God (Revelation 14:9-11).Do Not Trust False Prophets
Many will come claiming to speak for God or offering alternative paths to salvation. Compare everything you hear against the Bible, as it is the ultimate standard of truth (Matthew 24:24).
A Final Word of Hope
The days ahead will be challenging, but God’s grace is still available to you. His desire is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Turn to Him today and trust in His plan for your life.
Even in the darkest times, His light will guide you, His love will sustain you, and His promise of eternal life will carry you through.
In Christ’s love and truth,
A Brother in Faith
